About

My goal as a counselor is to bring logic to emotions

I want people to understand themselves better and to be able to highlight their individual strengths. My counseling style is combination of directness and humor to not only tackle the problem head on, but to keep things light as you progress towards your goal.

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depression and enjoy working on women’s issues, multicultural topics, and helping individuals work through family difficulties. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to pinpoint unhelpful ways of thinking and to help you learn better ways of coping, giving you a greater sense of confidence in difficult times.
